Meet Gabrielle, a very sweet 18 months old Shepherd mix. She’s a little afraid of the camera (I’d tried to take photos of her a few weeks ago without any success) but as she got more used to me, she tried very hard to be brave and even managed a few smiles!
I’d have to say she has the looks of a model, as she’s really beautiful. She’s fun to pet, too, with a smooth fur, and she loves to be petted (she holds still and comes close to you).
Here’s a video of Gabrielle being petted:
Gabrielle is food motivated and likes treats. She knows ‘sit’ although her actual execution of the command depends on her level of confidence. Training classes, a regular routine, and lots of love will help Gabrielle with her confidence.
Here’s a video of Gabrielle receiving treats:
She may not look like it, but she actually can be energetic and playful! I’m sure that she’s a champ with toys and would love a game of fetch.
She gets along with other dogs, though I’d say she would love to have more attention focused on her, so she can feel secure.
Despite her shyness and hesitation, Gabrielle is a very sweet girl who is trying her best. If you are looking for a gentle, trainable dog who will be a very loyal companion, please consider Gabrielle.

This is the second time I have come across the picture of Gabrielle. I cannot believe how much she resembles my 16-yr-old Koko, who died recently. I would like to know more about her, & will follow up w/ an email. Pam Stewart
