Featured Dog: Portia - ADOPTED!

Meet Portia who is a total sweetie of a bull terrier mix. She’s about 2 years old but acts younger (as in, she still has a fair bit of energy).

She’s also very food motivated, and checks on you constantly to see if she’s doing the right thing. This is all good, because she may have a partial hearing loss.

As you can see, Portial already knows ‘sit’ and is eager to learn more. Her attentiveness should be a plus in obedience school. She also gets along very well with other dogs (she’s actually very polite around them- curious, but polite).

Though I don’t have a photo of Portia playing, she does enjoy her toys and will chase them around. She would prefer to be near you, though, and be petted and rubbed most of the time.
