Featured Dog: Faith- ADOPTED!

for this week leading up to Valentine’s Day, I’ll post a dog everyday…maybe one of them will be your valentine! (Remember there is a special Valentine’s Day event at the shelter inviting you to visit the shelter this Saturday, from 10 to 3 pm.)

Are you looking for a stable, relatively low-key, but very sweet girl? Meet Faith.

Faith enjoys the sunshine.

She’s hard to photograph, mostly because she is so much more interested in snuggling up to you than posing for a camera. 🙂 Still, I tried. She’s older, around 5+ years, which means she doesn’t have that crazy puppy energy or the angst of soul-searching of adolescents. One volunteer calls her quite a lady and she is just exactly that, refined and polite, yet gentle. And of course, don’t forget very loving.

See the hound part of Faith?

She would be a great first dog, because then all the hard work is taken care of, but she would also make a fine companion for a settled, calm adult dog. Faith loves long walks and sunshine, and laying quietly by your side.

Bignose Faith

Here she is attempting to be funny. She’s got a very long muzzle, like a hound, and has a smooth coat all over.

Faith sniffs my hand

Won’t you be her friend?

Faith lives in Kennel 31.
