Look who I have on my lap! Why, it’s Arthur!
He’s a 4+ years old adult Rat Terrier, and a very calm one. He might have been a little unsure of his surroundings, but he was still incredibly gentle and loving.
He loves treats, and sometimes will lick your hands afterwards. He’s sweet that way.
As you can see, he has a very handsome and distinguished profile.
Since Arthur is very mellow but sensitive, he would best in a low-key environment with a consistent routine (walking, feeding, snoozing in laps now and then). He is fine with other dogs if they are polite and quiet like him– preferably older adult dogs, rather than puppies.

Bull City Dogs 
I met Arthur today and really liked him! I want my husband to meet him tomorrow. However, he’d like to know more about Arthur’s temperment testing. Can we ask you more about him?
My husband and I adopted Arthur. Before bringing him home, I took him for a little stroll on the tree covered path next to APS’ facility. After stretching his legs a bit and sniffing a few things, Arthur looked up at me with delirious joy and laughed with doggie glee. He already is fitting in with us to a “T.” Arthur is active without bouncing off of the walls and affectionate without being needy. And, he’s a quick learner. He already knows sit and where in our backyard we prefer him to go to the bathroom. Right now, he is hanging out with me in my office as I type. As far as we’re concerned, Arthur is the dog we’ve been waiting for and he is in his forever home.
Thanks again for the work you do for the animals at APS. I think we’ll be grateful for Bull City Dogs for a good many years!
