Featured Dog: Jerome – ADOPTED!

If you are a big fan of scruffy-looking dogs, you should meet Jerome. He’s even got a whiskery beard!

Jerome the handsome

scruffiness exemplified

Jerome is a male terrier mix slightly under a year old, roughly under 15-20 lbs, and probably will not get bigger. Which is good, because he is a lapdog and loves to be held and hugged and get close to your face so he can give you kisses!

happiness is playing in x-pen

He would be good as an active companion for running, hiking, or any outdoor activity, as well as being a second companion for a canine family member (he’s very social!). He also loves to play with toys when they are on offer.

how he looks when he awaits treats

He was first reported as being a little unfocused, but he's come a long way and sits very nicely for a hot dog treat and would do very, very well in training classes, especially if he knows that treats and lots of petting are on offer. He really tries to please you and wants to make sure that you are happy and that you know -he- is happy too.
