Featured Dog: Pippa- ADOPTED!

Pippa's big brown eyes

It’s hard to describe Pippa, a roughly 4 years old Staffordshire Terrier mix, because she’s got so many facial expressions, but if I had to describe her in a nutshell, it would be this four letter word called love.

Like most dogs at the shelter, she’s a little anxious, but once she meets you and learns that you’re here just to have fun, she’s a positively giddy, snuggly girl who loves hugs and butt scratches.

You can’t tell here, but when Pippa is happy, her tail wags in a way that her butt moves back and forth, making her entire body shimny slightly, and you can really feel her happiness and joy. She loves sunshine, warm laps, attention, treats, and generally just hanging out with you appreciating the little beautiful things in life.

So if you’re looking for a companion to share your walks, a lapwarmer (she loves to rest her head on your lap), and generally a low-key creature who just wants a bit of comfort, Pippa is most definitely your dog.

Pippa likes to rest her head on your lap.
