Puppy Friday: Emily – ADOPTED!

Yes, it’s puppy Friday on a Tuesday, but as several people said to me, it’s ALWAYS a puppy everyday!

So I present to you adorable little Emily, a 3 months old lab/shep mix who’s quite a bundle of puppy energy and determination!

Emily pays attention

Emily has the usual puppy energy and distraction, but is doing very well in paying attention with help of treats. We played with the toy for a while and then I tried to teach her to fetch, which she did very well.

Emily awaits a treat

There’s nothing like a treat after bringing back an already inanimate skunk!

Oops, I did it again, she says. 🙂

As you can tell, Emily would LOVE to go to obedience school and learn all sorts of new things. She’ll be a very fun puppy to train.

She also likes other puppies (and probably other dogs) and would love to play with them (especially a good game of tug!). She’d make a good second dog and could provide the much needed energy lift for older dogs.
