Featured Dog: Maggie – ADOPTED!

Meet Maggie, a 3 yrs old reddish Lab mix. She’s a wonderfully polite girl who loves long walks, sunshine, and people.

She can be wonderfully comical when she needs to be, but is for most part pretty low-maintenance (she’s already housetrained, knows sit and has excellent leash manners). She’s great at paying attention to you and is very affectionate (she loves to give little kisses).

Maggie gets along with other dogs, but would be best as an only dog who would enjoy an occasional date with other polite dogs.

If you are looking for a low-key, faithful and loyal companion, please visit Maggie in Kennel 28 (she’ll be going to foster care soon). For more information, please leave a comment below or email doginfo@apsofdurham.org

Maggie is pending adoption- she’s a great dog and has found the perfect forever home.

Apparently Maggie’s friendliness towards the adopter’s cat was not well received, and she was returned to the shelter. We will be taking her back to our house to foster her again. Our cats will be thrilled- they really liked her, as did our dog and all of us!
