Featured Dog: Joshua – ADOPTED!

I met quite the gentleman the other, a shar-pei mix named Joshua. He’s at least 6 months old, and despite his size, is still a puppy, albeit an older one. He walks very nicely on the leash, is very attentive towards you, eager to please, and would make a wonderful dog.

He’s also very gentle; when you sit on the bench, he stops right along with you and waits patiently. He also accepts petting and treats; in fact, he already knows ‘sit’ and will sit as soon as he sees the treats.

He’s also very cute- his gentle eyes and ever furrowed brows seem to indicate how willing he is to work with you and be your constant companion. His paws turn in a bit, adding to the cuteness factor.

Joshua is also very playful and loves his toys. He’s very social as well and gets along superbly with other dogs- he’d make a great second dog.

If you are looking for a young but gentle and easily trainable dog, please consider Joshua- he’s in Kennel 20 if you want to visit him. For more information on Joshua, please contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org or leave a comment below.
