Featured Dog: Sloane – ADOPTED!

Sloane is a beautiful girl in a tuxedo! Her talent, other than being well-dressed, include being highly athletic, friendly, and very attentive. She’s a very sharp cookie who would love to learn more tricks, including agility. (She already knows ‘sit’, ‘fetch’ and probably some more commands since the last time I worked with her.)

She’s about 2-3 years old, has a pit/border collie mixed background, and gets along with other dogs, though she can be overly energetic for some dogs. She’d do very well in an active household where she’d get to go running or on long hiking trips.

If you are interested in Sloane, please visit her in Kennel 10. For more infomation on Sloane, please contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org or leave a comment below.

As an APS foster mom who has met Sloane several times, I am amazed she had not been adopted. She’s friendly to everyone- people and dogs, sits so nicely, and is just very cool looking (I love her white socks). Everyone should consider this sweet dog!

I’m so happy that Sloane has been adopted! She’s such a great dog and as a volunteer she always made our time at the shelter that much better with her sunny personality. We’ll miss her but I’m sure everyone is so SO happy she’s found her forever home. 🙂
