Featured Dog: Rolf – ADOPTED!

This is not a bunny, I swear, though those ears DO look like rabbit ears. This is Rolf, a Basenji mix who’s very active and energetic but will do well in a home with consistent exercise and training.

He can be a little goofy, but is food motivated and knows ‘sit’ very well. He’s about a year old, so he’s still got some energy but does not have the puppy distractions. He loves to play with his toys and likes to fetch, though he would prefer that he has a job (agility? flyball?) because he is very work oriented.

Rolf would be a great companion for an active person. If you are such a person and do not mind the challenges of entertaining an intelligent dog, please visit him in Kennel 46. For more information on Rolf, please contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org or leave a comment below.
