Featured Dog: Dylan – ADOPTED!

Dylan

This little guy in the sunshine is Dylan, a well-behaved (and soon to be) gentleman with warm brown eyes! He’s actually about 8-10 months old, but he’s very mature for his age and is already fullgrown. He is listed as lab-pit mix, but I think he may also have a little hound in him as well.

Dylan

The first thing you need to know is that Dylan takes his training very seriously. He’s a pro at ‘sitting’ and sits even without a treat. He just automatically sits by default!

The second thing is that he is very, very attentive, and really does look to you for guidance. This characteristic is going to be handy for training, and I predict he will do very well in obedience school.

Dylan

The third thing is Dylan is good at walking on the leash. Given how I walk close to 8 dogs each time I’m at the shelter, this is not an understatement. He really is good at walking on the leash, even with other dogs around.

Dylan

That brings us to the fourth point…he’s excellent with other dogs! He’s actually quite social to both humans and canines alike, but pays attention to whoever holds the treat.
