Featured Dog: Bunty – ADOPTED!

Meet Bunty, a one year old pit bull/hound mix, who’s actually very affectionate, social and very playful. All of her photos make her out to be more serious-looking and solemn than she actually is!

She’s actually very people oriented- she looked up at me constantly during our walk, and walked beautifully. She sits readily for treats, and loves it when you pet her- she’ll come and lean against you (be prepared not to get up for a long while!).

But when she sees a ball, the playful part of her emerges and it’s great fun and a joy to watch her play. It’s best expressed in a video and see if you can stop laughing when you see her wiggling her butt in the grass.

Watch the video here.

Bunty will do well in an active home where she’ll get lots of playtime (a fenced backyard would be great) and attention!

If you’re interested in Bunty, come visit her in kennel 31. For more information on Bunty, please contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org or leave a comment below.

I think i have Bunty’s brother, one of her litter mates. The widows peak markings, eyes, and face are so similar and unique. Where do you live? I would love to get them together and see if they really are related!
