Featured Dog: Betsy – ADOPTED!

Betsy looks like your normal boxer, except for her eyes. At a certain angle, they are a beautiful shade of golden brown, sensitive and understanding. You start to think, she’s a good listener, isn’t she, and you’re not exactly wrong. Betsy is very social and absolutely loves people– she kept wanting to approach everyone on our walk.

It’s hard to believe that this girl is only 3 yrs old- she seems much younger. She already knows ‘sit’ and is eager to learn more, and really loves it when you pet her. She is very food motivated, so she will be easy to train.

Because she’s a little older, she doesn’t have all the negatives of puppyhood– short attention span or extremely high bursts of energy. So if you’re looking for an adult dog with minimal possibility of chaos, Betsy is your girl. She would be excellent as a canine companion for a family, or as a second dog (she likes other dogs).
