Featured Dog: Brianna – GBNF

Contrary to what this photo may show you, Brianna is not rolling her eyes. She’s focused on the treat I’m holding in my hand, high in the air.

See how focused she is? That’s how food-motivated she is, and this means she’ll be very fun to train. But that’s not all about this one-year-old lab/pit mix. She also loves toys and thrives on a game of fetch.

Not only that, despite her grouchy look, she’s actually one of the more affectionate and sweetest dogs I’ve met. She loves to give you kisses, and will stay very still when you pet her, and sometimes she will lie back for a bellyrub.

She might be too energetic/enthusiastic for other dogs (unless they like to play bully-breed), but she would be fine with an active family and occasional trips to the dog park.

If you are interested in Brianna, please visit her in Kennel 19. For more information on Brianna, please contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org or leave a comment below.
