Featured Dog: Samantha – ADOPTED!

Samantha

Why hello. Who’s this ray of sunshine? It’s Samantha, a 4 years old Samoyed mix. She’s very furry and soft and more floofy than big (all that hair!).

Samantha

She also loves to put her head on your lap and be stroked.

But mostly, she is the happiest in a fenced yard, when you play with her and give her treats. It took me a while to figure this out when I first walked her, and apparently, all you have to do is to pet her a lot and offer her a toy.

Samantha

Like a lot of Samoyeds, she uses her tongue a lot- she may have to be shaved for the summer! Or if you’re the kind who goes to North for a cooler summer, she’d love to tag along, I’m sure.

Samantha

Her great smile really makes you want to keep her happy- she’s positively radiant when she smiles.

Samantha

I can’t remember if Samantha knows ‘sit’ – but since I can’t find a photo of her doing that, I guess she doesn’t. However, her focus is great and she will maintain eye contact for a treat. She probably would not mind going to obedience school, even at her age.
