Puppy Friday: Kelsey – ADOPTED!

One of the many thing I like to do with puppies is to train them to ‘sit’ because that generally helps them to be adoptable as well as being great subjects for the camera. I was teaching Kelsey, a sweet 4 months old lab/hound mix, how to sit and I think she did pretty well.

I also taught her that jumping on laps would get her only an affectionate petting, not a treat. She was a little confused. There may have been some excited questions. 🙂

Back to more training.

As you can see, Kelsey is very food motivated. She’s also quite snuggly and energetic, and like most puppies, would benefit from puppy training and consistent exercise.
