Featured Dog: Bernice – ADOPTED!

Bernice is only 2 years old, but she feels so much older than that. She’s like a much older, more mature friend who always listens to you and gives you wise advice. There are times when I think her real name is Oprah.

She sits very nicely, and is very attentive. For a lab/pit mix, she walks rather nicely, and doesn’t pull or lunge at all, even though she’s friendly with everyone, human or canine.

Bernice would make an excellent second dog- she gets along with other dogs and would certainly appreciate a playmate.

If you are interested in this sweetie of a gal, please visit her in Kennel 25. She’ll be the one waiting very quietly and patiently, without being fazed by the noise.
