Featured Dog: Gideon – ADOPTED!

Meet Gideon, a sweetie of a lab mix! He’s around 2-3 years old, fullgrown, and very much the adult. He has great leash manners and walks calmly. You can tell he has great self-control when he walks very gently but turns on his energy for playing.

He is a pro at ‘sit’ and ‘down’ and would love to learn more. Our dog trainer was impressed with him and worked on teaching him other skills. He has great focus and calm that will make his training much easier. In fact, if you are interested in a housebroken dog who is willing to listen to you and is not a puppy, Gideon is a great choice.

Gideon’s excellent manners extends to other dogs as well; he’s excellent with them and would make a great second dog, though he would make a wonderful and loyal first dog. Besides, how can you not love the happy goofy face he’ll always have all summer long?

If you are interested in Gideon, please come visit him in Kennel 2. For more information on Gideon, please contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org or leave a comment below.
