Featured Dog: Gwenyth – ADOPTED!

This is Gwenyth, a 4 yr old hound mix who’s very sweet. She can be cautious, but when she relaxes, she comes up to you and rests her head on your lap. And if you have treats on offer, she’ll gladly accept them.

I have a sneaking suspicion that she is a cuddlebug at heart because she really loves to lean against you and be petted.

She originally came into the shelter with two puppies, Miles and Milton, and is looking for a home of her own. Because of her cautiousness, she would probably do best in a low-key and low-stress home where she is an only dog. So if you are just looking for a steadfast companion on your walks and your evenings (and mornings), Gwenyth would be a great choice.

If you are interested in Gwenyth, please visit her in Kennel 8. For more information, please contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org or leave a comment below.
