Puppy Friday: Finn – ADOPTED!

Finn

This is Finn, a 4 months old Pit/lab mix who came into the shelter badly emaciated and starving. He’s doing really well and is at his optimal weight (more or less).

Finn

He’s a little shy in that he won’t ask for cuddles but he likes them anyway. Just gently put him on your lap and he’ll look up at you with his big soulful eyes and melt your heart.

We were quite comfortable in that position for some time! He enjoys having his belly rubbed and doesn’t mind being petted all over.

Finn

Finn already knows sit, and for someone who was starving, he has an incredibly gentle mouth when he accepts treats. He’s also very polite and will not nudge or paw you pointedly to hurry up and give him more treats (unlike my 12-year old dog *cough*).

Finn

Finn is a good listener, though you may get a few dubious “uh huh” looks.

While Finn is cautious by nature, he is eager to learn more and have a loving home of his own. If you are looking for a gentle puppy and have lots of patience and love, please consider visiting Finn in Kennel 1.
