Featured Dog: Kayla – ADOPTED!

Meet Miss Kayla, a lovely 2 years old chocolate lab mix. She’s a little cautious about the world, but is working on her confidence quite nicely.

She is very food motivated and does an excellent ‘sit.’ In fact, when she sees that treats are on offer, her tail goes wagging almost immediately and she almost does a front-paw dance.

She is also good at begging, too, as you can see. She would be a great dog for someone who loves the gentle nature of labs but with a lower energy level.

Kayla gets along with other dogs, and would be a great second dog. I sense that she would love to be a regular part of your routine, and once she gets more confident, that she would be a very loyal and dedicated companion.

If you are interested in Kayla, please visit her in Kennel 27. For more information on Kayla, please contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org or leave a comment below.
