Puppy Friday: Janine – ADOPTED!

This little girl with a look of such intense concentration is Janine, a 4 months old hound/shepherd puppy.

At first, she seems to be very full of puppy energy, and indeed, she does have her “zoomie” moments where she just runs around and around until she gets tired.

It’s when you tell her to ‘sit’ that you realize that Janine has excellent self control and that she is very attentive towards you once she knows you have treats on offer!

All of that makes Janine a very fun and trainable puppy to take to obedience school. But wait! She’s got something more…

A sense of humor. Or rather, the ability to make anyone laugh.

I don’t know if it’s the big ears, or the crazy positions in which she sits/lies down, or how she treats a biscuit like it’s a squirrel, or if she likes to hear you laugh, but she really enjoys making people smile and laugh.

She’s also very affectionate and likes to be cuddled and petted and to give you many, many kisses (and facials) in return.

Janine is really one sweetheart of a puppy. If you’re interested in her, please come visit her in Kennel 37.
