Featured Dog: Abby – ADOPTED!

Meet Abby, a gorgeous pit/border collie mix who’s about 6 months old. She always has a big smile on her face- I couldn’t find a single photo in which she wasn’t grinning from ear to ear!

As you can tell from the photos, Abby already knows ‘sit’ and is food motivated. She would love to go to obedience classes to learn more.

Abby is very energetic and playful– she loves to run around with her toys and seems to know ‘fetch.’ She can be a little too enthusiastic with other dogs, so she might be best as an only dog or with a dog who can stand up to her.  She would make a wonderful jogging/running partner!

Despite all her energy and her seeming aloofness, Abby actually loves being petted. She likes bellyrubs and being near you for as long as her energy level permits.

If you are need of some joy in your life, please consider visiting Abby in Kennel 48- she’ll be happy to see you!

Wouldn’t you like to come home to this happy face?
