Featured Dog: Kylie – ADOPTED!

This is Kylie, a 4 years old Jack Russell Terrier mix. She might be one of the rare JRTs who is not highly energetic or hyper!

In fact, she’s actually a little shy at first, though she warms up easily with treats on offer.

She also likes petting, and gives you a big smile to let you know that she’s happy and no longer wary.

She really is a very quiet dog and I don’t mean in terms of barking (though she didn’t do any). She walks very nicely on the leash and doesn’t pull or try to jump over my head.

In fact, if you are interested in JRT or smallish breed that is not high energy or highly sensitive, you should consider Kylie. I also suspect she might be a good lapdog.

What Kylie really loves, though, is grass. She will roll in grass, brushing her nose firmly against the lawn.

And then she asks for bellyrubs, and you can tell she is absolutely delighted when you do rub her belly.

Kylie doesn’t really ask for much- just a good home, walks, and bellyrubs. She is fine with other dogs, though she is not really interested in them (mostly polite, but not playful).

If you are interested in Kylie, please come visit her in Kennel 32.
