Featured Dog: Mackenzie – ADOPTED!

This friendly, wiggly puppy is Mackenzie, who’s about 4-5 months old.

The first time I worked with her, she was a little hesitant because she didn’t know what I wanted from her, and when she realized that all she had to do was to sit for a treat, she got very comfortable. She’s a pro at ‘sit’ and would love to learn more!

She’s incredibly attentive and food motivated, and I think she will do very well in obedience school. She loves toys and gets along with other dogs.

She has a range of very funny facial expressions. For instance, I call this one “tucking your tongue in your nose.”

Then there is the standard tongue-wagging face.

“Hi! I’m friendly and cute and love everyone and everything!”

“Do you love me? Would you love me? Please?”

“You do? Oh yay you do!”

“I’m looking forward to that treat.”

“Mmmm that looks good.”

Here’s a video of my first session with Mackenzie:
