Featured Dog: Carmen – GBNF


Meet Carmen, a pit mix who’s a year old. She always looks like she’s wearing a tuxedo or a sleek black jumpsuit.


She’s relatively high energy- she’s still in the young adult phase- but most of the energy translates into enthusiasm for many things, especially toys.


Seriously, if you have a stuffed toy, the rattier the better, Carmen will play with it for hours.


Carmen also gets along very well with other dogs, and would make a great companion for an equally toy or play-loving canine. I foresee many games of chase and tug-of-war…


When she’s by herself, though, Carmen’s signature play style is to roll in the grass with the toy in her paws and mouth. It’s quite a sight and you can tell she’s very happy.


Although I don’t have a photo of Carmen sitting, it should be stated that Carmen knows ‘sit’ and is very attentive for treats. She would do really well in obedience school and would probably be curious about agility classes.
