Featured Dog: Sullivan – ADOPTED!

This beautiful boy is Sullivan, a cattledog mix who’s about 3 years old. I think he also may have a bit of border collie in him, because he is very focused and attentive. Oh, and extremely smart.

An example: when I first walked him, he proudly led the way like he knew where he was going (he did- and I’m guessing it took only a few walks). He knows ‘sit’ and also seems to know ‘down’ and ‘shake.’

He can be a little wary at first (he is still hesitant about leashes over his head), but he warms up very nicely and has this habit of looking back at you to see if you have any more commands for him. He loves to play with balls, and would enjoy agility. He also gets along with other dogs and would make a terrific second dog.

If you are interested in Sullivan, please come visit him in Kennel 45. For more information on Sullivan, please contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org or leave a comment below.
