Puppy Friday: Carson – ADOPTED!

This is Carson, a 4-5 months old hound/boxer mix. He sort of bears a passing resemblance to Carson, the butler of Downton Abbey. He’s always listening  (love the floppy ears) and always looks stalwart and dignified when sitting. He may not demand footmen at dinner or insist on proper placement of flatware, but give him time- he’s still young, and you never know…

Carson takes his ‘sits’ very seriously and he is extremely food motivated. This is the look you will get whenever you have something smelly and delicious in your hand.

At this time, when he was still classified as a puppy (he has graduated to walks) Carson was much more interested in food than toys.

Now he loves both equally, and I guarantee that he is going to be a fun puppy (he loves to chase a ball). He also gets along with other dogs, and would probably love a canine playmate.

Here he is trying not to drool. I may have made him sit too long…

If you are interested in this goofy, playful and attentive puppy, please visit Carson in Kennel 9.
