Featured Dog: Clyde – ADOPTED!

Clyde

This handsome fella is Clyde, a beagle/hound mix who’s a little under a year old. He looks so serious all the time…

Clyde

Like this…

Clyde

And this…

Clyde

So solemn, that Clyde.

Clyde

Such a look of disapproval.

Clyde

When in reality, he looks more like this- hint of mischievous glint in his eyes, with a small smirk forming on his lips.  He’s really a goofy guy who wants to please you, and just about loves everything in life.

Clyde

As you can see, he loves food treats and knows ‘sit’ and ‘down.’ He would love to go to puppy school and proudly strut his stuff.

Clyde

This is the smile he’d have at the end of every class!

Clyde

Clyde also loves to play with his toys and I caught him with the goofiest expression I’ve seen in a dog. Maybe he’s sheepish that he dropped the toy?

Clyde

There are times when I think Clyde has too big of a jaw/mouth rather than big paws and doesn’t know what to do with them. They make for entertaining photos though.

Clyde

“Look, I’m an otter! Or a turtle! Or that funny yellow animal with a long neck!”

Clyde

Clyde is fairly energetic and would be best paired with an active person (he would love to go running!).

Clyde

Don’t worry, Clyde will also tell you when it’s time to relax! While he doesn’t need bellyrubs, he likes getting them.

Clyde
“Could you rub under my left rib too? Thanks!”

Clyde

“Ahhhhhhhhhhh….”

If you are interested in him, please come visit Clyde in Kennel 6. For more information on Clyde, please contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org or leave a comment below.
