Featured Dog: Keats – ADOPTED!

It’s my pleasure to introduce Keats, a pit bull who’s a little under a year old. He might look very tough, but he’s really all sugar and not even one bit of spice.

This is what I call Keats’ “serious” look- it doesn’t last very long!

And this is his “Er, I don’t think I want to put that in my mouth, no thank you.” look.

For most part, Keats looks like this. He really is that genuinely happy to be with you.

He is food motivated and doesn’t quite know sit yet, but has a very gentle mouth and is very patient while you work him through the steps of sitting.

Despite his pit bull heritage, Keats is actually very gentle, affectionate, and well-behaved on leash. In fact, he’s one of the nicest pit bulls I’ve met, and I’ve met many nice pit bulls!

Here’s a video of Keats playing (he loves toys!) and snuggling:

If you are interested in Keats, please come visit him in Kennel 29. For more information on Keats, please contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org or leave a comment below.
