Featured Dog: Melissa – ADOPTED!

Melissa

This winsome face belongs to Melissa, a delightful 1-1 1/2 years old pit mix.

Melissa

She loves food treats and is very attentive – she already knows ‘sit’!

Melissa

It also seems that she also knows how to wait patiently while I take her photos.

Melissa

She also loves people and is always looking for an excuse to get closer to you.

Melissa

She loves being petted and being snuggled.

Melissa

She looks quite comfortable there, doesn’t she?

Melissa

When she’s very happy, Melissa looks like this.

Melissa

Wouldn’t it be great to come home to this face every day?

Melissa

Melissa also loves toys- she loves to toss them in air and chase after them.

Melissa

Or to see if I will give chase (no thanks! I love you, Melissa, but I already had my workout!).

Melissa

That’s okay, because she’s fine with playing by herself.

Melissa

The squeaker won this time, but Melissa vows to come back for a rematch.

Melissa

But first, bellyrubs! This is Melissa’s most favorite thing- warm grass, abundant sunshine, and bellyrubs!

Melissa

You can tell she LOVES them.

Melissa

Ahhhh…

Melissa

“Why don’t you humans join me? It’s so nice here!” “I don’t know, honey. Pollen?”

Melissa

“Oh pooh, you funny humans. Well, more space for me!”

To see Melissa in action, with playing, bellyrubbing, and general mellowing, here are two videos:
