Featured Dog: Fiona – ADOPTED!

This beautiful girl is Fiona, a 2- years old Spitz mix. Yes, that is a lot of fur, though she doesn’t seem to mind much…yet!

She is very calm and gentle to the point of being almost aloof. It wasn’t until I saw the pictures that I realized she was very affectionate.

Fiona is a dream to walk on leash- no jogging required! She’s more than happy to amble along and sniff the grass.

Like all dogs, she loves sunshine, even with all that fur.

She also loves being hugged and petted- it seems like she can’t get enough.

Fiona would love to be an only dog in a loving household and would be good for those looking for a calm, older, but not too old dog.

If you are interested in Fiona, please come visit her in Kennel 32. For more information on DOG, please contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org or leave a comment below.
