Meet Jonas, a 2-years old shepherd mix. If this was a yearbook of sorts, I’d vote him “most likely to greet people with a big smile and a big heart full of love.”
He might be described as a shepherd mix, but he’s totally a retriever in terms of personality- he loves people and is gently affectionate.
Actually, he’s a very gentle giant. He walks beautifully on a leash (no pulling for his size) and ambles along (I don’t know how to explain it- it’s a sort of trot, but not a running trot).
He might not sit as readily (though he is food motivated), but he is very, very toy motivated.
In fact, his favorite game is fetch. He loves running after toys, picking them up, and dropping them off at your feet so you can throw it again…and again…and again.
This is where Jonas really shines- a big grassy field with lots of toys!
