Featured Dog: Shasta – GBNF

Shasta

This cute, freckled girl is Shasta, a 4-5 months old pit/hound mix.

Shasta

She’s incredibly food motivated, and sits with and without command very easily.

Shasta

This is all good, because Shasta has lots of puppy energy and sometimes cannot help herself when she gets excited, especially when going for a walk, or playing with her toys outside.

Shasta

Shasta is going to be a very trainable puppy- and she would love to go to obedience school to learn new things.

Shasta

Shasta’s favorite thing, though, is playing with toys. She loves them all!

Shasta

She and I played many, many games of fetch.

Shasta

Due to her high energy level, Shasta would probably love to run around in a backyard or go running with you. She would also enjoy long hikes.

Shasta

I love how her ears go completely up when she’s moving about.

Shasta

You might have seen Shasta from a previous post- she is the same puppy in here and here. She’s grown quite a bit!

Shasta

Shasta gets along with other dogs, but she is a wee bit exuberant with her playstyle- she would be best a very tolerant or equally energetic canine companion.

Shasta

If you love to be active outdoors all summer, Shasta would be a wonderful buddy.
