Featured Dog: Gracie – ADOPTED!

Gracie

Meet Gracie, a friendly 5 years old Giant Schnauzer mix.

Gracie

Don’t be fooled by her expression- she actually is very friendly – she’ll greet you with a hug (two paws around your waist).

Gracie

It’s just that she’s trying to convince you to give her more treats with sheer brainpower.

Gracie

She already knows sit and is very food motivated, so she would be fun to train, despite her age.

Gracie

She is a little bigger than most dogs- though not as tall as a Great Dane- but she is very gentle.

Gracie

For example, she actually likes being brushed, and unlike some dogs, actually holds very still during the brushing.

Gracie

She is also extremely affectionate and loves to be petted.

Gracie

She will lean on you, or sit on your lap with top half of her body. Be prepared not to get up for a while, though.

Gracie

She does love playing with toys and can be energetic, though she doesn’t mind switching that energy into seeking your affections.

Gracie

The only thing about Gracie is that she most definitely does not get along with other dogs- she’d have to be an only dog.

Gracie

Gracie would appreciate a home where she can be the center of attention and be pampered.

Gracie

In return, she’d shower you with lots of love and wonderful companionship.

Gracie

In addition to her many positive traits, Gracie gives one of the best bed-heads, compete with cowlicks and potential mohawks.

Gracie

She also gives off some of the goofiest smiles I’ve seen in a dog.

Gracie

Won’t you give this wonderful girl the loving home she needs?
