Featured Dog: Henrietta – ADOPTED!

This sweet girl is Henrietta, a 3-4 years old whose breed is anyone’s guess. She could be a bearded collie, a wheaten terrier, or a labradoodle, or all of the above!

She’s quite a dignified adult for her age, and this is more remarkable considering the neglected condition she came into the shelter. She’s gotten a new haircut (yay for  Dog Stylists!), lots of treats, and is just beginning to receive lots of affection.

As you can see, she’s very food motivated and knows sit. She probably would enjoy dog training classes, leisurely walks, and lots of bonding time.

She’s not very sure of other dogs, so Henrietta would be best placed as an only dog or as a companion to an older, equally polite, male gentle-canine.

If you are interested in her, please come visit Henrietta in Kennel 27. For more information on Henrietta, please contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org or leave a comment below.
