Puppy Friday: Homer – ADOPTED!

Homer

This dreamy little puppy is Homer, a 4 months old lab/hound mix.

Homer

He’s a really sweet guy who is slowly coming out of his shell. When I first met him, he ran away from me and kept his nose to a corner and wouldn’t turn around unless I waved hot dogs in front of him. I had to put him on my lap to convince him that it was okay, and he didn’t move a peep.

Homer

Homer’s still a little shy, but he doesn’t turn away from people anymore. In fact, if you have treats, he’ll sit and wag his tail excitedly!

Homer

He’s such a good boy, no?

Homer

Even better, he’ll come to you and lie down or lean against you, and expect to be petted.

Homer

Bellyrubs are a particular favorite of his.

Homer

Good thing he’s got a soft, smooth belly!

Homer

An even better favorite of his: a biscuit AND a bellyrub!

If you are looking for a sweet, but not too energetic puppy who is very trainable, please consider visiting Homer in Kennel 25.
