Featured Dog: Peggy – ADOPTED!

Peggy

Meet Peggy, a 1- 1 1/2 years old pointer/ Basset hound mix.

Peggy

She is one of the more unusual looking dogs I’ve met- a pointer face and ears with a long body/short legs/wide paws reminiscent of a basset hound. That did not stop her from being charming, though.

Peggy

Peggy is very food motivated and sits nicely for treats.

Peggy

She is also very responsive towards you- if you pet her, her tail starts wagging happily.

Peggy

Peggy also loves bellyrubs. It’s funny to watch her “collapse” on the grass and roll towards you with her belly bared.

Peggy

She’s very adorable when she pulls her paws up and very politely asks for a bellyrub.

Peggy

Sometimes she does an ecstatic dance.

Peggy

You can really see her joy.

Peggy

Peggy gets along with other dogs, and was very patient with a curious puppy when we went for a walk. She would probably love the dog park.

Peggy

Peggy would love a home where she can get regular walks, food, love, bellyrubs, and a nice big patch of grass.
