Featured Dog: Giselle – ADOPTED!

This sweetpea is Giselle, a 6-7 months old bull terrier mix.

Actually, I call her a snuggle bunny, because she is quite snuggly for a puppy (she loves to lean on you and will be your best friend if you offer her your lap).

And she does sort of look like a bunny- look at those floppy ears!

Giselle is still technically a puppy, and she does have some of that crazy puppy energy (there are times when she’ll jump up randomly just for the sheer pleasure of it).

However, she is very food motivated and focused, and already knows ‘sit.’ She’d love to go to obedience school to learn more!

She also likes to play with her toys to use up that puppy energy, and to make friends with just about everyone, both human and canine she meets! In fact, if you walk into the shelter and go to the dog section, she’ll be the one furiously wagging her tail.

Did I also mention that she likes to give big, slurpy kisses as well? And that she is always this happy to see you?

If you are interested in Giselle, please come visit her in Kennel 2. For more information on Giselle, please contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org or leave a comment below.
