Featured Dog: Ike – ADOPTED!

This is Ike, a very cute 2-3 years old rat terrier.

As  you can see, he already knows ‘sit’ and is very food motivated.

He’s a little unsure of himself but is trying hard. I suspect a consistent routine and kind handling will work wonders for him and he doesn’t require much- just mealtimes, two, maybe three, good long walks, and a little bit of playtime.

Because he is a little anxious, it is not recommended that he be a second dog – he’d be best as an only dog. He would be a good choice for those looking for a calmer, more adult dog.

Can you give Ike a home and the love he needs?

If you are interested in Ike, please come visit him in Kennel 19. For more information on Ike, please contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org or leave a comment below.
