Featured Dog: Ryan – ADOPTED!

Meet Ryan, a sweet lab/hound mix who’s a little under a year old.

Ryan sits well and is very food motivated. He’s so food motivated that he has memorized the mealtime schedule and was anxious to get back to his kennel to get his food…only to find that there wasn’t a bowl for him. He had the saddest face, and the biscuits I gave him weren’t enough, so I looked around and found the food cart, and made sure he got a bowl. You should’ve seen his look- he was so thrilled! So if you do take Ryan home, make sure you feed him and keep extra food out of reach 🙂

When he’s not eating, he likes to make up for the calories by running and chasing toys all over the place. He probably would love to accompany you if you’re a runner or a hiker.  He also gets along with other dogs and would make a terrific second dog.

If you are interested in Ryan, please come visit him in Kennel 7. For more information on Ryan, please contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org or leave a comment below.
