Featured Dog: Brendan – ADOPTED!

Meet Brendan, a Basenji mix who’s a little under a year old.

He’s a fairly easygoing guy, once you understand what he loves, which is running around and chasing all the toys.

He’s been known to stuff three toys in his mouth (his current record). Brendan is not just attentive to toys, though. He likes hot dogs and will sit for them very nicely.

So if you’re looking for a trainable and playful dog, you should consider Brendan. I’m not sure if he gets along with other dogs, but considering his playful nature, he probably would like to play with other dogs if he gets along with them.

Brendan would also be great for an active, energetic family- he’d enjoy running, hiking, or “helping” out with soccer. He’s also a little on the small side, which is great for folks who are looking for an active but smaller dog.

If you are interested in Brendan, please come visit him in Kennel 4. For more information on Brendan, please contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org or leave a comment below.
