Featured Dog: Shelby – GBNF

Shelby

Meet little Shelby, a year-old hound/pit mix.

Shelby

She’s as happy and joyful as she looks in the photos- she loves it when it’s her turn to take a walk, because it means one of her favorite things: quality time with toys in the exercise pen!

Shelby

Shelby can seem quite energetic and distracted at first, but she’s earning to focus very well with help of food treats. She has a very nice ‘sit’ and has good eye contact.

Shelby

Like most young dogs, though, she can be quite goofy…

Shelby

… and silly. She has some of the best expressions I’ve seen on a dog.

Shelby

Shelby loves to run and play fetch- so a nice fenced backyard is a must for her. If not, a nice run at least once a week should keep her happy.

Shelby

Clearly, Shelby would like to spend the holidays with you.

Shelby

Shelby would be a good choice for someone who already has had experience with dogs, and who is energetic and willing to take time to train her and give her the exercise she needs.

love the look of this little girl, but I can’t come meet her till after the holidays. Do you have any more information about her, or where she came from?
