Featured Dog: Ruby – ADOPTED!

This snuggly dog is Ruby, a 18 months old sharpei mix.

She’s a very friendly, very affectionate girl who LOVES nothing more than to be your lapdog.

It was a cold and rainy day, and Ruby sat next to me and we kept each other warm. It was very cozy and I imagine that Ruby would be a good sofa buddy.

Ruby also loves to play- she knows fetch and likes to run back and forth chasing a ball.

She gets along with other dogs, and would be a fun addition to a household.

Also, Ruby has a great range of expressions. She does a very good McKayla Maroney impression here- the “Ruby is not impressed” look:

And this look is probably that of contentment (a warning: be prepared to sit for a long time. Ruby really loves her cuddles).

If you are interested in Ruby, please come visit her in Kennel 30. For more information on Ruby, please contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org or leave a comment below.
