Featured Dog: Uggie – ADOPTED!

Meet the gentlemanly Uggie, who’s a 4-5 year old Jack Russell Terrier.

He’s a dream to walk on leash and is unfailingly polite. It’s fun watching him being curious about something or someone- – he’ll have a rather studious look, sometimes one paw up (canine equivalent of a furrowed brow), and tilt his head. You can really see the wheels in his head turning!

With that in mind, Uggie would probably LOVE agility classes, or geocaching, or just about any task you give him!

In the meantime, he keeps himself occupied with toys- he loves to run around with them and adores playing fetch. He’ll probably live up to his namesake (the dog from the movie “The Artist.”).

If you are interested in Uggie, please come visit him in Kennel P1. For more information on Uggie, please contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org or leave a comment below.

Would Uggie be a good “house” dog, or is he used to being outside? Is he a constant barker at people passing by the house? We have a lot of walkers in our neighborhood.
    Does he shed his hair?
We are looking for a small sized house dog pref. non-shedding.
