Puppy Friday: Irving – ADOPTED!

Meet Irving, a 6-7 months old pit mix who’s a total sweetie!

He’s also very adorable. He wasn’t feeling very well when I took these photos, but he tried his best.

By his “best” I mean he snuggled next to me, enjoyed being petted all over, and leaned his head on my lap for a long time.

When it was time to go, I hated telling him he had to step down. Irving was obedient, though. I think it is a testament to a dog’s good temperament when he is willing to listen to you even when when he isn’t feeling well.

And apparently, he has an excellent temperament when he’s well. He likes his toys, and is nice to other dogs. He also likes food treats and would be a joy to take to obedience school for training, since he’s so attentive.

And of course, he’d love a home where he’d gets lots of hugs and snuggles. There are times when I think he prefers hugs and kisses over treats.

On the following photos, I call that his best bartender look because of the way he rests his elbow- he just needs a bowtie. 🙂
