Featured Dog: Willow – ADOPTED!

Meet Willow, a very sweet 4 year old Foxhound mix.

We had a very nice walk in the spring-like weather, and played with a dandelion.

Willow is the kind of dog for whom you’d make flower chains — she’s so gentle.

She’s also a bit goofy- she attempted to taste the dandelion and decided it was definitely not to her liking. 🙂

She does like food treats, though, and even though she didn’t follow the ‘sit’ command for me, she maintained excellent eye contact and focus. I suspect the presence of 4 other dogs in the vicinity may have caused her to feel a bit insecure.

However, with a little time and lots of love, Willow will blossom to a very nice and loyal companion. She would be a good choice for those looking for a mature and calm adult dog who still has lots of fun inside her.
