This happy girl with a big grin is Meghan, a 6? 8? months old Plott hound/pit mix.
Meghan already knows ‘sit’ and is very eager to go to puppy school, especially because she loves treats and is very food motivated!
She looks so focused here, and the truth is, she is, for most part. This was after I had her run around twice, once in an inside pen, and then in the outside pen.
So yes, Meghan does have a lot of energy, and she does need to run, but if you are a runner and need company, Meghan would be very happy to accompany you!
She would also be thrilled with a fenced-in backyard with lots of toys (which is her idea of heaven).
Meghan must also be half-cheetah because she looks so incredibly athletic and agile when running around.
Meghan absolutely loves playing with her toys- fetch, tossing them in air, stuffed or rubber…she loves them all.
You can see how happy she gets when she runs around.
There are no photos, but you will have to believe me when I say that she likes a good cuddle after a long session of exercising. Her ideal routine would probably look like this: wake up, eat, run, give kisses, nap, run, give kisses, eat, and sleep.
Meghan seems to be interested in other dogs, but I think she probably would be best as an only dog given her energy, and once she’s settled, she probably would appreciate the dog park.
