Featured Dog: Tess – ADOPTED!

Meet Tess, a gentle and pretty 1- 1 1/2 years old lab/pit mix.

Tess was originally brought to the shelter after being hit by a car and having a deep laceration on her front leg, but you could never tell. When we went to the exercise pen, the first thing she did was to run really fast (I call these “zoomies”) around the pen to release her energy. The only hint of her past was when cars drove past by the pen and Tess started to back away, but that’s understandable.

She loves food treats and is very trainable- if you look at the video below, she sits very well.

She also enjoys being petted and deserves to have a loving, comfortable home where she can be pampered.

Please watch Tess’s vine video to get a better idea of her personality.
